Ideas I've been sketching for a T-shirt design for my daughter. The official Disney princess merchandise T-shirts always irk me a little because they're impossible to find with a decent layout of ALL of the princesses (10 currently official ones + Merida who will be made official in the summer according to latest info from Disney). Yes I realise it's down to Disney being a large company that wants to use people as their billboards and hence it's easier just to print 1-4 princesses on a shirt so they are bigger and you can see the brand from further away. But jfc it's always the same few on the front and then if you're lucky you get Tiana or Mulan stuffed in the back so you see their heads. Also they bother me because you only ever see the ladies in their ballgowns/fancy dresses (except Pocahontas/Merida) so I'm toying with the idea of making her a shirt with plain dress princesses. Mostly because I'd like to try bring out the actually valuable princess traits like kindness, patience, perseverance, courage, thirst for knowledge etc. and not just glamorise their shiny sparkly ballgowns and wealth. If I want her a shirt with sparkly princesses I can just buy one from a shop already so that's not what I'd want to do.

So hm idk... messing with a puzzle layout and kicking myself for forgetting little forest animals that I could had thrown in the garnishing mix around the edges. I think I'll let these simmer at the back of my mind for a few weeks and see what happens.

I'm not very sure on what to say here. I've been putting off to make a wonderful comment since this deserves to have one, but now I have no idea what to write.

This is a beautiful piece and I have no words to say what's on my mind. It's just that each pose the princesses give are just so flexible and give out a happy joyful feeling.

And the idea of putting the Disney Royals in -Royal-less- outfits brings the piece together since you see beyond the dresses and see their personality behind them. And I love how it's all into a simple shape and it's amazing I'm bringing tears to my eyes. :')

And don't get me started with the one on the left. akgba;egbaeoiubyhaek I LOVE IT.

All the dresses are just flowing everywhere and it's poofy and it really brings the Disney Magic. C: Mulan's pose-It's wonderful! So calm, sincere, yet deep inside I know she's ready to rip out that outfit and kick butt!

And Snow is just adorable!

Okay I'm gonna stop now before this comment turns into a five page essay.

Great piece, and if it turns into a clothing design, I would definitely buy both designs as a sweater!

I think this is a fantastic idea for a shirt! I agree with the fact that they don't represent ALL the princess as they should. I personally though don't like complete square images on shirts; I like them to flow a bit more. I think an idea for the "heart of a princess" theme would be to form the image into a heart and have the banner flowing over it (without obscuring princesses of course). Just an idea. I love this and I hope to see more awesomeness!

It might look a little like one of those classic sailor "Mum" heart tattoos though. Maybe an oval shape, hmm....

Or you could let the princess's hair flow around the edges and make like a wavy box. That would be cool, too, especially with Rapunzel's hair. XD
