Thank you and yes I use watercolours. I use a mishmash of watercolours that I've sort of accidentally accumulated over the years... I have a little 14-pan Winsor&Newton watercolour set, a kids' watercolour set I got from a poundshop and some tube colours I picked up just because I liked the look of them. Anything goes really. And to learn to use them is just mostly practice... I haven't had actual proper lessons about them either except for random tidbits in high school art class. It's all just trial and error and sometimes you come across tutorials that teach you new tricks to try so get painting!
Yeah I never had hair as long as hers but even going from halfway down my back length to a short crop few years ago it just made my neck go "whoaaa your head is light". And it took a few weeks to stop brushing in long strokes or squeezing out a giant lump of shampoo. >_<
Ooooh there's a LOT of girls and women out there just like Rapunzel (minus the magic hair obviously), I don't think the world could cope with any more. After all, a certain balance and variety is required or it would just be too boring. Hope you have a good trip!
This is absolutely lovely! Great job on their likenesses, both in looks and personality. I agree - Rapunzel would miss her hair, and I love the idea of her dealing with that by playing with the other princesses'. Well done
